Life's Big Events is a small business located in Scarborough, Maine. Owner and photographer Melissa Manseau started the business officially in November of 2003. Within three years, Melissa had photographed over 100 weddings and today the business has moved out of her home to a studio located at Mussey Road end of the new Scarborough Gallery (where the new Super Wal-mart is located). Melissa and her two daughters run the business with the technology support of her husband.
Her oldest, Lindsay, has taken quite a liking for photography and has been photographing weddings for the past three years with Melissa. She has taken courses in photography at the New England Institute of Professional Photography as well as art courses at the Maine College of Art. Currently she is a Small Business & Entreprenurship major at the University of Southern Maine and plans to continue studying art in her spare time.
